April's Vacation

Mews Kitties what a summer !!

This is my first summer with mew's new family.

It started in mid June, when we adopted Pippin.

He was 10 weeks old,

black with a white front. At first mew and Pumpkin hissed at him. Casey

loved him from the start !! Boys !! But after a day or so mew liked Pippin.

Then it was time for meowmie to go on vacation. Pumpkin, Mew, Casey and

Pippin stayed at the kennel. It was fun ! We had fresh food and water everyday.

Also clean blankies. We had AC and a TV !! A Vet came everyday to check

on all the kitties and d*gs ! We had fun too. Every day the staff would come

and play just with us kitties !! Meowmie had fun in St. Augustine and missed

us a lot !!

Then in mid August it was furry hectic here!! A hurricane was coming!

Meowmie came home early from work and packed up our kitty stuff, food,

and some clothers for her ! Then out came the carriers!! The boys went

in good! Mew put up a fuss and Pumpkin hid under meowmie's bed for a while!

The town siren came on over and over again ! It was spooky! When meowmie

had Pumpkin in her carrier mew escaped out of mine! LOL! But meowmie soon

caught mew and put mew back in ! In the car we all meowed ! At

Auntie Mary's mew made friends with her little human. Casey hid under a

chair and meowmie was upset that he was lost ! Finally after 2 nights we

came home!!

Then in Sept another storm came. This time we stayed home !

Meowmie was not a happy camper and we kitties were very relaxed !

Meowmie will be furry happy when hurricane season is over.
